by means of line density and tone.

Groyne, Hunstanton.-Pencil/ink wash

Wells beach.- Pencil and paper

An observational drawing, executed in pencil on paper.
this is now my modus operandi, rather than taking a
camera for new reference material. This is a long, overdue
return to what is and was always my preferred method of reference
gathering.

camera for new reference material. This is an long overdue
return to what was always my preferred method of reference
gathering.

Seated figures eating fish & chips, Wells.- Inks, acrylic paint

This is merely exploration of form and colour, which has been
extended into the existing format used in my ink paintings.
